Beard Exhibition

Hi lovelies,

I hope you are well! I know it has been a while but I do have a valid excuse, I have been super busy with two major course hand-ins, writing for Brillante fashion show blog (that you should read, if you haven't already) and going out to amazing events and exhibitions, so expect a lot more posts to come.
So if you know me personally or follow me on social media (which you should ;) then you will know that I am all about celebrating beautiful people.

Which is why as a treat for me handing in and surviving term 2 of university me and my bestfriend Jadine decided to meet, wander around Southbank and go to the beard exhibit because I really cannot resist a good beard!

All jokes aside though, I would definitely recommend anyone to go to this exhibit as the photography is beautiful, the diversity of models is refreshing and I love the feature wall with all the portraits displayed in a very mosaic way.

Until next time,
Lizzie

Design Museum - Women, Fashion, Power Exhibit

Hi lovelies,

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you will know that I have going to quite a few exhibitions and one of them being the Design Museum - which I would classify as a hidden gem because it is literally hidden (if you walk from Bermondsey).

Although saying that, I really enjoyed spending some quality time with my sister and looking at the items of clothing that not only make women influential but also powerful! I must also disclose that I did buy a pair of tickets from the Time Out London website for a steal of a price and we also got a glass of Prosecco (that was lovely).

I have also realised that I have not done an ootd post in a while, which is mostly because I haven't had time but my ootd of the day was my new leather jacket from F&F, floral dress from ASOS, satchel style bag from ASOS and pumps from Next.

Back to the museum - it was a really amazing exhibit and I am glad to say that if you haven't had a chance to go, then there is still time as it closes on the 26 of April (which is plenty of time). And because I wanted to be a good blogger I did take some photo's although as I have been out of the loop and was busy talking to my sister I didn't take as many as I wanted - sorry guys.

I loved these two pieces of fashion media because it correlates with everything that I have learnt in university and it just makes me smile.

I love this, doesn't the Queen look stunning!

The epitome of beauty!

The beauties my sister fell in love with!

Until next time lovelies,
Lizzie

Sizers review

Hi lovelies,

I hope you are all well! For a while now, I have been talking to my sister about how some of my favourite/new pairs of shoes haven't been fitting too well and I was really puzzled on what to do because they are all gorgeous pairs of shoes and of course I didn't want to send them back because sending back pieces that are pretty and in my size makes my heart hurt - literally. I knew I was definitely a size 5 not 4, which is where Sizers come in.

We had been following each other twitter for a little while and I had visited their website and thought why not contact them just to get some extra information on the product. And I am so glad and pleasantly surprised with their response. The team are so friendly, they replied swiftly and sent me not one but two free Sizers samples in 1/4 and 1/2 - which I am so grateful for, as they genuinely do help!

I wore them recently in a pair of heeled boots, which I cannot put into words how painful they were to walk in but I did because they are badass and really make an outfit. However with these little foam pieces of Heaven, they really do take prevent shoes feeling uncomfortable and make you feel more secure in the shoes you are wearing; which inevitably makes you walk and radiate confidence.

So now you know my new little secret, what are you going to do? I think you to should get a Sizer - for those 'just in case' moments.

Until next time lovelies,
Lizzie

Presenting ... YAWN

Hello lovelies,

Recently I was introduced to YAWN, a luxury pyjama brand that do the prettiest nightwear  collection, which is why I could not resist writing about them! Also if you are anything like me and you love to sleep but never have/make the time to, then getting you hands on these beautiful pieces could be the push you need to persuade you to have an early night or have more lazy days.

YAWN is a recently founded British brand that stock sizes from XS - L and pieces start from a bank-friendly £25 - I mean what is not to love! They are currently available at Fenwick's Bond Street, Fortnum and Mason but don't worry if you don't live in London as they also retail on loveyawn.com .

Friendly tip: Each garment is made out of 100% cotton sateen, that will immediately make you feel more relaxed as soon as the fabric touches your skin. So what are you waiting for?

And if that hasn't convinced you, then how about their cute slogan 'Phone off, Kettle on, Pyjama time' - I mean come on how adorable is that. I dare you to go on their website and have a cheeky browse ;)

Until next time,
Lizzie
